Friday, June 3 is Californiaâs legislative crossover deadline date. If bills do not pass in their respective legislative chamber by this deadline, then they are defeated for the year. It is imperative that you call AND e-mail members of the state Senate and Assembly Appropriations Committee to OPPOSE SB 124, SB 819 and AB 809. Also, the state Senate did not vote on anti-gun bill, SB 427, yesterday. The Senate will meet again this Friday, May 27. Please call and e-mail your state Senator TODAY and urge him or her to VOTE AGAINST SB 427.
