I like the idea of keeping it all visible. We've bought stuff in the past and then years later noticed that it's long expired because we haven't been staying on top of it like we should.
We keep plenty of rice, salt and honey on hand but the vinegar and cornstarch I wouldn't have thought of. Not sure how much we would use vanilla though.
