Terrific story! It reminds me when we were kids at my buddies farm. We were walking through the fields and I pushed the wire down to step over it whenever we came to the edge of the field. My buddy said don't touch that wire or you will get shocked. I grabbed the wire and said no you won't. He grabbed the wire and got shocked. It took a while for us to realize, I didn't get shocked because I was wearing rubber boots.
