this is old news-- i have been cutting the herd just about every year since i took over the farm in 05 , though last year was the biggest cut.

expensive feed, hay, and just about a drought every summer has knocked me nearly out of the bovine industry.

i am nearly at the hobby farm level on the bovines. the only reason i am still fooling with um is a like to have my own supply of beef.
