Senate Bill 273, sponsored by Senator Richard Alloway (R-33), continues to lay dormant in the Pennsylvania House of Representatives despite the fact that next week is scheduled to be the final week of the 2011-2012 legislative session. As recently reported, SB 273 would strengthen Pennsylvania’s firearms preemption law to further ensure firearm and ammunition laws are consistent throughout the state. With such a short timeline, it is imperative the House and Senate consider SB 273 when they return to Harrisburg on Monday, October 15.
