Yesterday, the Wisconsin Natural Resources Board met to hear public comments regarding the recently enacted Sporting Heritage Act. Approved by the state legislature with overwhelming bi-partisan support and signed by Governor Walker, Act 168 was intended to open up nearly all of Wisconsin’s state parks for sportsmen during the state’s most active hunting seasons. However, the Natural Resources Board was given the responsibility of forming a detailed plan for its implementation.
