I really do try to listen to all sides of any debate. This was just too much.

Political Porn? I guess that individual is an expert on those issues.

I do agree with one thing in this whole BS argument: The Children of the POTUS should be protected as if they are National Treasures. It is just the right thing to do.

That being said, I also think that ALL children should be protected as if they were National Treasures. Simply because they are. Every one of them.

I want Infantry at every School. I want Marines as Fast Deployment Teams. I want Apaches on Standby, and I want the Air Force and Navy to deploy every asset in the inventory to ensure the safety of our children. I think we should have a 20,000 ship Navy for just this purpose.

At the end of any day, there is not one issue more important than keeping our children safe. Wayne was correct, there is nothing that will stop a bad guy with a gun, except a Good Guy with a gun.

We have a lot of Good Guys. Police, FireFighters, Soldiers, Sailors, Airmen and Marines. We just need to make sure that they are properly empowered to do what comes most naturally to them; PROTECT THE DEFENCELESS!
