the nra can do all they want with politicians but they need to start working on getting the average joe to under stand why we want these types of weapons

they do very little to inform the puplic of anything. right now about 70% of the public are against mags over 10 rounds , convincing politicans its bad to vote anti gun its one thing convincing the general population is another. they could start with a campaing informing how many of these types of guns are really used in crime . an they could also acknowledge what gun owners are doing?????? I don't need a email every day telling me how hard there working with no details. they ask us to write all the time apparently they don't want us to be seen???????????????? its not just the government that are calling for mandatory checks an mags banned along with the gun its self its a whole hell of a lot of people. the media ahs been screaming for almost two months an the only thing the NRA has to say is hire armed guards.

IMO this is about as stupid as some of the antis, do you konow how amny schools there are in the USA?????? Do you really thing a nut will not just go some were else like a soccer game , theater, mall, buss stop, daycare, hospital, nursing home, church????????????????? spending billions on hired guards is not really as ound idea it will only secure schools an shif the soft target else were. yes we might see less school shootings but we will se more ------------ shootings. should there be armed peole in schools sure but there should be honest armed people every were. How many billons of dollars would need to be spent to hire guards?????? some schools are only a few kids do they get a guard also???? are we going to arm busses, bus stops, sporting events, plays, keeping a ired person just for protection to try to cover every situation for just schools alone is mind boggeling . how many school shootings have there been in the last 50 years??????????????????????????????

IMO THE NRA BETTER/NEEDS TO START MAKING CONCILED CARRY AN BEING ARMED A GOOD IDEA . THERE NEEDS TO BE A CAMPAIN THAT SHOWS WHAT HONEST GUN OWNERS DO WITH THERE SO CALLED ASSULT WEAPONS. THEY NEED TO FIGURE OUT HOW TO DEAL WITH THE MEDIA .

IT ALSO SHOWS YOUR FRIENDS AN NEIGHBORS THAT YOUR WILLING TO DO MORE THAN SEND $25 TO THE NRA AN SEND SOME EMAILS TO PROTECT YOUR RIGHTS. I FEEL A LITTEL GUIADANCE FROM THE NRA WOULD BE APPRECIATED OR THE NEXT THING YOU KNOW YOUR GOING TO HAVE UNUNITED FRONT AN WE DONT NEED THAT. I WANT TO SEE THINGS STAY PEACFUL AN THINGS CAN GET OUT OF HAND IN A HURRY WITH MULTIPUL GROUPS DOING HTERE OWN THING. THE PROTEST WAS A SUCESS CONSIDERING HOW LITTLE PUPLICITY WAS THERE. IT COULD HAVE BEEN HUGE .
