After reading the link to the first story I see that he was found innocent and actually got his guns back. I also now I understand that it was the suicide hotline counselor that said he had a gun.
I apologize for not getting all the facts before I commented. this all happened 2 or 3 years ago.
I also see where he became frustrated with the suicide hotline counselor and said this was a mistake to call and hung up sounds like he was pretty frustrated and that perhaps that conversation was pretty heated. you would think that a VA suicide hotline would record incoming calls?
