Dodd brought a copy of the Germany 1935 Nazi Gun Law back with him after the Nuremburg trails at the end of WWII.

He had the Library of Congress translate it into English. He had some changes made to it (removal of trunnions and knifes), and submitted it to Congress where it was approved as the 1968 Omnibus Crime (Gun) Law.

Don't you just love Liberals, and their anti-gun beliefs! I think their brains are wired for absurdity.
