I have the set coming in minus the hardware, how much did yours set you back?

If you got it from Rueseller, be prepared for a wait. I have the same set "comming" since the begining of August. It does note on the auction site to allow 5-10 weeks for delivery. Also, seller claims to be sending from Russia via Germany. I got a warning from Shrtround right after I ordered that he had been stiffed on some stuff from an "Andrei". Hope for both of us this stuff shows up. Lots of folks on other boards claim this guy is legit, I hope so. I should have just ordered the sams stuff from Tantal.

Are you gonna save it for the 6.5 Grendel project?

I won and paid for a Nagant pistol holster from Andrei eight weeks ago. He told me a week ago he'd check on it. No word yet.I'm not real optimistic. I bought a DSHK manual from a guy in Russia last year. It took almost three months, So I'm not giving up on the holster.

Good luck on getting anything from Russia right now.
Homeland Security/BATFE are clamping down really, really, really hard on that stuff right now.
*ETA-Happy birthday dude!*

So do you guys think I should back out?

Yes, if you have the chance. I paid with a postal money order, so I'll bet I'm out of luck. Like I said, Just get one from Tantal, he has them listed on his site. Not sure if they are in stock or not, you need to e-mail him to find out price and availability. I bit on this because he had some pretty positive trader ratings. If you check each one the rating posts they are mostly canvas slings and cases, no real hard goods. He does respond very quickly to e-mails, usually stated problems with customs in Germany. He does have some really neat stuff listed, nice bait for us hungary fish.

Hopefully I'll hear back from Tantal today.

I ordered 2 original Saiga 12 SWAT pistol grips from Andrei in August of 2004 and they still haven't come. I emailed him many times and he says that there were customs problems and they were confiscated. They were $45 each. Just a week or two ago he said that he was sending another pair out at his cost. They have to go to Germany and then the U.S. from Russia. We'll see if I ever get them. I paid via Paypal.

I do know that stuff sent from Germany is making it through. I just got 2 East German AK-74 wire folding stocks 2 weeks ago from there. No customs problems.
