They look great!
How does the Tapco flat's mag well fit with the 74's mag? I thought they are for 47's.

Iron-Boy, Both the Tapco and the DPH flat magwells are stamped for the 74, and have to be opened up for the 47 mags- I found most of the filing had to be done on the sides of the openings, very little front to rear. Also, in addition to trimming the ejector for the 47, the lip just below the rail on the right bottom rail need trimming to clear the 47 mags. Sure be glad when these are done!

I see a 5.56 mag there, what's the plan with that? I like the novelty of 5.56 and have gone thru a Saiga conversion.

A friend gave me the Bulgy 5.56 clear mag - I loaded it up w/ 5.45, and thought why not? Took quite a bit of trimming and filing to get it to fit and lock-up, but hand-cycling the bolt strips and feeds all 30 rnds no problem- won't know for sure until gun's assembled if it works for sure, but I couldn't let this mag just sit!

Man, I'd like to have a 74 in 5.56- helped a friend with his conversion to AKS74-
that is a sweet running gun! Bumps better than anything I've ever seen!
