hey, anyone know where I can buy about 100 of the Udrives that are the right size and hardness for a build. I have gone to a couple of the sites mentioned and all I find is a product list with no prices. I was going to buy a kit of them but can't see myself spending 9 bux for a drillbit and 8 or so of the udrives when I have a full set of drill bits already and only need the udrives themselves. anyone who knows where to buy them or sells bulk lots of these please let me know. black oxide finnish would be great but I have a parkerizing setup so the finnish is not important. would be using these for front trunion only as I have plenty of the long rivets. sorry if I am posting this in the wrong forum area I'm still kinda new to forums and am slowly getting used to it. ;) I pay with paypal or credit card and am very quick to respond usually. email me at Twissted1@hotmail.com or just send me a PM. will respond asap thank you again for your time. I used the #10 x 1/4 but the heads are a little bigger then rivets. I picked up some #8 x1/4 to try, they match rivets allmost perfectly. I also used a #21 drill bit for the screws. next time I will go with 1 size smaller bit. And they didnt work well in the short swell neck rivet holes at all. I removed the udrives and used rivets there. But the #8's might work there if you dont remove the rivet there and just run the #8 into the rivet.

yea i got the number 10's and they are def too big, the theory is that you are drilling a hole into the rivet and driving the udrive into the rivet... the number 10s are the same size as the rivet.

 well that's great, I ordered #10's because I looked through the forum and saw that people were using the 10's oh well. I guess I will have to buy some 8's now. I'm sure I can find a use for the 10's anyway, I plan to use rivets on the AMD they were for anyway just wanted to try these out to avoid the problem I have been having with getting this G** D*** romy barrel pin out!!! thanx for the advise. give the number 10's a try, if they stay in the trunnion then they work...I haven't tried my 10's yet but if other people have gotten them to work, i could be wrong

update with the 8's. they worked great on all but the short locations on the rear trunion. I will just use rivets there, but the udrives will work there just a pain. You need to support the rear ones or when you try to drive them they will flex the trunion and not drive in.

what drill bit do you need for the #8 udrives?
