I like that alot, just like the bushmaster/gwinn pistol, how are you going to finish it?
I think it's cool as $H!T, :thumbup1:
Nice to see something different for a change.
Do you have to register it as a SBR?
now let's see it with a shoulder sling!

Awesome. That looks like an improvement on the Bushmaster arm pistol. I used to have one of those, damn thing got so hot you could barely hold onto it.

Is the front grip offset like the Bushmaster? I've thought of doing one of these for a while now, but that reciprocating bolt handle always makes me nervous.

Hi everyone Im enjoying this build. Its going to be a strange one thats for sure.Pjm204 Im going to re stain the wood to match the grip.Bead blast the metal and cold blue. And I want to mount a lazer under the bbl if it doesent look too bulkey. Tony its a pistol not a rifle therefore no sbr. TanvilI think the wood will help to shield some heat. Mr Pbb I installed some deflector tabs too send the venting gas foward that vents from the gas block. But I agree gloves for this bad boy, maby a asbestose apronLOL. Lt 762x39 range trip sat.Feedback and vids to follow. Kernalkrink the grip is inline with the mag If there is not enough room I will bend the charging handel up.But it looks ok.

You should try putting the handle up like AZhonkey always does or maybe even on the left side. I feel like this needs a cooler finish than cold blue, like an exotic duracoat color

Ya'll I've followed this build from the start, and I've held this thing, and I'll tell you right now it gives me a chubby. Bambam is a master at metal work. He's fast and his work is really sharp. We're going to do some home hot-bluing this Saturday, and maybe - just maybe this baby's going to have a hard black finish next week. I found all the chemicals, and Friday I'm going to get the burner assembly set up and get the glass bead blast media (Bambam already has some, but I hate wasting his stuff) and we should have everything we need to do some real professional-style bluing.

accuracy will depend entirely on how well you recrowned the barrel. I've found this out first hand

Looks like a good baseline for a bullpup.

Here are some new picks.Bead blasted for about 30 min. then cold blued.striped the wood and stained. Then clear coated. How does she look.http://i97.photobucket.com/albums/l214/1bambam/arm%20pistol/th_IMGP0071.jpg (http://i97.photobucket.com/albums/l214/1bambam/arm%20pistol/IMGP0071.jpg)

Well I went to the range to test the ap after installing a barrel that was 1 in. longer to create enough gas to cycle the action(I guess 1/4 of a inch is not enough). But 1 1/4 is plenty.http://i97.photobucket.com/albums/l214/1bambam/arm%20pistol/th_IMG_0011.jpg (http://s97.photobucket.com/albums/l214/1bambam/arm%20pistol/?action=view¤t=IMG_0011.flv)
