Does anyone know how AlumaHyde II works over parkerization? I have always used Guncote.

Watch this tutorial, it will help you avoid the prolems that I ran into on my first one. Also put a container of alcohol or some type of oil free sovlvent next to you because the nozzles clog up quickly. You will find it alot more forgiving than Dura-coat. It does, however, take a long time to cure. Spray a piece of scrap so you can determine when it's safe to handle your parts.

Did you find the video beneath the 'Guntech' tab? On my first one I didn't do the hairdryer trick, I just layed it on thick. REAL thick. That puppy took a week before I could touch it. It really came out nice though.

As stated above, buy extra nozzles, wear gloves, avoid build-up in tight areas. I let mine air cure for two weeks.

It is in the dry mode now. Laid it on thick. The next one will include the wife's hair dryer.
