Here is mine, 8.5" bbl
I decided to use a Galil stock , grip and a Micro Galil forearm.
Machined a new trunion to allow the use of an unmodified galil stock.
Here are a few pics

Very nice! I thought I was the only one going for the micro-Galil look.:frown: Great minds think alike! What was done to the gas system? Most guns shorter than 12" have the gas system shortened quite a bit.

I just moved the gas block back, machined a new piston and drilled 3 new gas ports. I machined a shorter gas tube .

dude. you realize that you just one upped ace? you throw some threads into that new rear trunion and WHAM... instant ar stock adapter. hell, i'd grind down the rivets on my saiga just to throw one in it.....

thats a good thought, Ar adapter would be a breeze, Ill try to machine a few of each out in a few weeks when I get done with the AR45 receivers .
The plus side on my stock trunion is it slide right in an unmodified saiga rec and uses the original rivet holes as well as the two original trig pivot pin holes for attachment so not only is it strong and tight you dont have to worry about welding up the original holes

Outstanding. I like the Micro-Galil look very much (my favorite variant by a long shot).
I would also be interested in an AR rear trunnion, if one is made available.
BTW, are you still machining AK gas blocks for pistol builds (like the one in your avatar)? I have attempted to contact you in the past without success.

I am also interested in the gas block.. Just sent you an email on your web site.

Very nice indeed. How easy was it on a scale of 1-10 to cut the barrel and move the gas system?
