Are these available? Mine appears to be failing. I wonder if there are other replacement switches that can be used?

Jerry -- there's a foot switch...I'll look.

this isn't the one I'm looking for. this is a solinoid on a 12 v.

If mine were failing, I'd probably start by taking it apart to the point where I could see the switch, getting any numbers from it I could.
Removing the switch would also allow taking it to an electrical supply house. The staff at such a store have often been helpful in locating replacement parts.

This is the timer circuit for my 220 volt HF spot welder.
It can be adjusted from 0 to 20 seconds in 1/10 sec increments.
Since the timer operates the relay and the relay operates the welder, the normal trigger switch has been removed.
A simple foot switch controls the start of the welding cycle and shuts off after the preset time is reached.
It can be readily adjusted, in time, for variable thickness of materials.

Found it!! Gunnysmith is the electrical engineer. Compliments to him.

Although I haven't had any problems with my HF 120VAC spot welder, I did read of others that had problems with the switch.
So a long time ago I ordered and received a replacement switch (from HF). I think the cost was something like $6.00.

Hey thanks for that info! I may consider installing a foot switch later on. Fortunately I don't need to spot weld anything soon.
