We got this mini mill s few months ago to do engraving, it just sits there the rest of the time so today I decided to put it to work making some 1/8" slots in some RPD lowers. it takes a while since the cuts are light, but it works by itself so it is like having a free helper!!
I love it! Maybe some day we will all be making our ideas into machined metal with a home scale milling machine and lathe. We are not that far away from it right now. Until then I enjoying my hand driven, error prone, mill and lathe. I'm getting smarter every day!:thumbup1:

Nice machine, I could think of dozens of other uses for it since I have make do with a dremel tool in shaky hands.

It looks like a Taig CNC which are very good machines. Congrats on being able to use it in your production.
From the screen, it looks like you're running Mach3. If you haven't spent some time with the manual, it'd be worth your while to do so. It has a bunch of really neat functions, and accepts a wide range of third party plugins.
