What suits you best in a given situation? For home security. Concealed carry. While hunting. When the SHTF? Do you rely on a good backup?

You left out 9mm with a 9mm backup. I usually carry a Steyr GB and a Kahr P9 when I carry two guns. There's always the "truck stopper" .357 Ruger in the glovebox when I'm in the car. At home, I have a literal arsenal of backup guns, the 870 Shotgun is the main armament with the MAK90 and 75rd drum in reserve. And anything in between, as needed.

i would go with a 120mm main gun with a 50cal m2 for back up--no make that a mk19 40mm GL!

I picked 45/32 becouse when I got my CCW in 2004 I bought a Ruger KP345 and a KelTec32.Now I go with a Norinco 1911 and a KelTec PF-9.

.223 [maybe .308] with a .45 backup
I wouldn't feel under armed with a 9x19 though. The only reason I choose .45ACP is that it is what is available to me.
CCW, I'd be fine with a .22lr. Practice with it until you can hit an attacker in the head 100% of the time.

If they get past the 20 and the MG. Toss the .45 too your buddy and tell him your going for more ammo.
