Wiselite receiver took some fine tuning work to make functional but should be a fine shooter.

That is sweet Nico!!!!!!!! What issues did you have with the receiver? I am so jealous!!! I have my unissued M76 kit sitting there all ready to build, and no receiver!!!

Another sweet build!!!
Did you get to run it yet?
What ammo are you plsnning to use-steel or brass?

Test fired today.
Ran brass cased PPU, and 1950 surplus Yugo through it.
Shot about 200-250 rounds with '0' issues with the rifle.
Had 2 duds of the Yugo Surplus ammo. Good primer strikes but no 'Bang'.
Wiselite receiver work done:
Drilled, and countersunk hole for bullet guide installation:
Fine tuned bullet guide, and bolt.
Bolt wasn't passing bullet guide on left side. Stoned lug on bolt to clear.
bullets hitting bottom of bullet guide on right side coming out of magazine.
some work with a file to clear.
Radius at the front of the right side upper rail was too large causing carrier to rise up when locking into battery.
Dremel, and file to match radius on carrier to repair.
Using selector stop plate magazine would sit too low, and have serious wobble.
Installed trigger guard without sector stop plate to get magazine to seat higher.
Green mountain rifle barrel journals all correct except FSB which required knurling to gain a .002 press fit on the FSB.
Couple of targets from today using the surplus Yugo stuff.
Hand held resting on range bag.
10 shots at 50 yards:
15 shots at 50 yards:
The Nico is most pleased. :D

Nice job. This is a kit I do not have! :-(

How do you think steel cased ammo will do?

Nice build. I have a early Wiselite receiver like in your pic but have not built it yet. And may use it for a milled PSL build., but that is another story.
Funny that those tweaks are also common to the ORF receivers of which I have built a couple. The right side upper rail contact took me a while to trouble shoot and a lot of machinist blue. Was locking the bolt/sction up so tight it would not come out of battery when dry cycling.
They are sweet shooters. Glad to see the GM barrels are good shooters as the ones I built are on Yugo barrels and are very good shooters too.
