Sarco has them, and I believe tapco or sombody makes a replacement tappet or whatever its called. Who has the $50 yugo's? I thought your problem at first was that you only had room for a dozen of them at that price.

Century had U-fix-ems for $150, but other than that the only place I've seen them for $50 is 1987.

this thing came from under some ones house-- looks like it has been laying in the dirt for 40 years.

i would call the barrel a sewer pipe but that would be an insult to a good sewer pipe!! the rest of it don't look too bad--

thanks-- for the info if i can't find one on the BST threar i'll order them from sarco.

I'm sorta in the same boat. I bought a chin sks for $60 in great shape but I need the trigger group w/ trig guard, gas tube and piston. Anybody see trigger group w/ guard anywhere? The other stuff I can scrounge elsewere.

a fellow gunco member "natro" sent me the much needed piston and spring.

i let the barrel and action soak in some ATF fluid then i cleaned it off with some WD 40. brushed the barrel out with a 30 cal brass brush about 500 times. flushed the barrel out again with wd-40 and lo and behold it does have some rifle groves left! so the old yugo ain't near as bad as it first looked. sort of a dark bore but still good for a shooter.

fired about 40 rounds through it yesterday. fed and functioned fine, no jams-hiccups or misfires of any kind. the ejected cases were clean and smooth with the primers in good shape.

it is more accurate than i expected it to be. put several three shot groups inside of 1inch @ 28m offhand.

not great but still serviceable for a 60 year old mil-surp firearm.
