AA-OK, I'm having some "issues", what's your experience? UPDATES throughout thread...
So... I placed 2 orders last week with AA-OK...
The second order, NO PROBLEMS, received confirmation, cc was billed, tracking information was sent to me.
The FIRST order is another story... received confirmation, cc was billed TWO DAYS BEFORE second order, but still NO tracking info received...
I emailed, and they told me, your first order has not been shipped yet... I waited 2 days and called, and the order desk tells me that they can't help me, that someone will have to get back to me in the next 24 hours...
So... I'm a little confused and pissed! The first order seems to have gone off the rails... The second order will be here BEFORE the first order WITH NO EXPLAINATION from AA-OK as to what the problem is...
You know, a little customer service goes A LONG WAY in my books. IF someone would have taken the time to tell me what the hell is going on, I wouldn't be typing this post!!!
TELL me about your AA-OK experience...

AA-OK are good people with all the times I've dealt with them, and I would not hesitate to order from them again. They'll make it right.
Not so long ago, you couldn't even get the status of orders placed "last week". Funny how times have changed. "6-8 weeks for delivery"... I betcha don't remember that, huh?

I've forgotten the guys name but he used to be in GA (a long time back). He's a good guy and has always gone out of his way to do me right.
I wish there were more dealers like this around. RPB was the same kind of operation.
Plus if you need an oddball Harley part, he may have it.

UPDATE...
Okay, I received an email from AA-OK saying that they are waiting on a part to complete my order... I also received their "policy" in an email stating they don't guarentee delivery dates etc.
I have no issues waiting for stuff, but, AA-OK states that it is IN STOCK if it's on their website... The item I bought was on the website, so it should have been "in stock", I wasn't told anything about the delay when I ordered.
I guess I'll just sit back and see if it shows up before May 28th... I have plans with my brother and a friend to hang out that weekend and leave for the party on the morning of the 29th...
Cheers & Thanks for the replies guys, AA-OK seems to have good reviews from you so I will get my panties out of a bunch and relax.

Okay... Update...
I received my 2nd order no issues... But my first order is still in limbo, AA-OK is awaiting delivery themselves so they can do up my order and ship it along...
Some details... The 1st order was placed on the 7th of May, billed to my credit card on the 8th, and shipping the order to me has been on hold since then... My 2nd order was placed two days later, billed to my cc and I received the package 6 days later, the way it should be...
A couple questions... Is it common for a company to bill your credit card like this (immediately) and let the order sit? That, and the fact that the staff on the order line told me that the items advertised online are "In Stock" and "Ready to ship", are the two things that bother me about this order.
I take heart in the fact that you guys say AA-OK is a good company, and I have gotten one of my two orders... But I can't help but feel like someone should have told me about the item being backordered and not billing my cc for the order till it was ready to go...
Anyhow, I just had to vent. Maybe the "computer age" has us all spoiled and I should listen to hcpookie and relax...

AOK, Delta, AA-OK etc....Theyve been around forever and were flaky 20 years ago. Theyre still flaky.

I will NEVER order for AA-OK again. I placed 1 order from them for a set of rails, and a magazine release with spring. I sent a money order for $35.
3 weeks later, I received one rail and the release spring. The packing list did not mention the status of the rest of the order, so I called them.
The lady that answered the phone told me that they considered the order complete and nothing else was being shipped. I asked to speak to her supervisor as that wasn't good business practice. The next and last guy I talked to said, " You her heard her. The order is COMPLETE. Place another order, and pay for it and we'll send as much as we have on hand." When I asked him about refunding me for the parts that weren't sent, I was told my order was COMPLETE.
NO WAY WILL I EVER DO BUSINESS WITH THAT A$$HOLE COMPANY AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1
