Heard good stuff aboot tactical inc, they are expensive as heck though.
I get good luck with old preban ramline double stack 25s. They just won't feed truncated cone ammo like yellowjackets. Even though the plastic ejector tab is supposed to wear out quick [according to some people] the ones on the 2 mags I use aren't even barely worn after 500 or so rounds.

I bought two of the ramline 30rnd mags (non-steel lips) back around 91-92. One of them cracked along the back seam within a year and I've never sent it back. Then there was that nasty awb thing that kept me from buying a $50-$70 replacement. The other one is still going strong and gets used when I go out plinking. I think the steel lips would only help the design and keep them from cracking at the back seam.

I have three ramline and they all jam bad and one split down the back.

reloading them is a issue as well. this thing will be seeing a lot of shooting in rapid fire.

Hello biggun1
I use the Butler Creek hot lips which has a pink plastic feed lips and they work good, others like the Butler Creek steel lips. I know you can't be rough, forceful and sloppy loading in the rimfire cartridge on plastic lips, lips may gouge. I really like the Butler Creek loaders which is a hand cranked loading set up and it's the fastest to reload the mags. Stay away from junk like Ramline and Eagle. IRONMULE

Gun Clips And Mags at Sportsman's Guide
I got one of those I'll sell for $50 + S&H but I have to tell you, I think it's junk

Butler Creek steel lip are about the best for the price, but I think they only make 25 rounders, the hot lips (plastic) are good too but almost the same price.

I got some of those RamLine 50 rnd mags and they seem to work good, but I had to fit them to my rifle. I had to trim the feed lips a little, an Exacto knife worked good for this, I can dump a full mag as fast as I can pull the trigger.
I have heard of a lot of people having problems with them, but you guys are the first I heard of that they were cracking.

Remember on the plastic mags sometimes you gotta put some graphite lube in them. Turned my ramlines from jammomatics to reliable mags... Something about the rimmed design doesn't like being stacked.

I have two BC steel lips and they have always worked. That is with thousands town range. They are only 25rndrs. The tactical solutions are awsome. I have one. It is adjustable and you are able to open it up and clean it. It will last a life time. Probably a couple. The ruger or butler creek mag speed loaders is a must....I makes it just so much more fun. specialy if you have a gat, you will need it. Ive had other brands and wouldnt use any of them again, if the feed lips are plastic they are just throwing your money away

I'm reading this with interest.

A long time back I decided to stay only with the 10 round factory. Nothing else worked.
