FPB -48
Took last Sunday off and built me one . Just thought it was a neat little gun . Got a 80% MP38 tube from Prexis and the kit from IMA .

Very cool.
I was using an MP-40 with one of these bolts installed and would get runaways with lower powered civilian commercial ammo, but it ran fine with military grade ammo. I don't know if that was a peculiarity of the particular subgun I was using or if it's something inherrant with the solid bolt of the Port FPB.
Just a possible heads up.
Great pics!

Thanks Templar , I've been running Wolf , Brown bear and I think Matt b\put a box of Magtech through it . So far so good . One thing about this gun though , the MP38 [which tube I used cause it's pretty ] is about a 1/2-3/4 inch shorter between the magwell and the sear then the original FPB , so basicly I shortened up it's stroke by that much . Shoot's at a nice easy 550-600 rpm , very smooth handling .

Yeah , at least it's not as sassy as she is . Guntruck has the top cut off to where I want it , about 1.5 ft behind drivers seat , steel plate cut and ready to place on the drivers side , still need to cut it out for the pass. side . I got my .50 cal barrel's in , but then spent my .50 cal receiver money on a 80% receiver for the MG42 I'm building [HAD to have it]. I need help LOL . I'll get back hot on the .50 in a week or two and should have the steel work done by Dec.

Pretty cool stuff. I love to see old guns brought back to life.

That 1919's turning into a coat rack , I got to get it out and warm it . Next big home project is a MG42 , then a .50 , a couple RPK's {Harlan?} and a M11 thing .

Well I could use the coat rack. heheh
Next time you snap some pics in front of it snap me a couple of that beuty so that I can get a new wallpaper. 1919's are one of my favorites
I am waiting on Harlan too. As soon as he gets the Rpk receiver done I am going to order one along with two yugos.
God I want ot build an MG42 as well. Where did you get the kit if you don't mind? I take it you are building a real one (bastard) as opposed to a semi-auto like I would have too build. No idea how to build one of those or how hard it is.
A Ma deuce would be nice too.
