I know of a land cruser that went 70 miles in wyoming with no oil and was repaired and ran. but I still say BS on the sand induction manifold porting. although some of the morons that call of craigs list on some of the WREAKED cars Ill are unbelivable. I had to spend 10 minutes explaning what rollover meant as in no dumb ass you arnt getting a un wreaked 2000 blazer for $500 dollars from the auto parts section . it been rolled over /crashed. some people are completly stupid. and they vote.

Actually the beginning post has made the rounds at a couple "wrench" discussion boards. From what I understand it was started by a guy as a joke and went for several pages.
I work at an automotive service facility on a military base. You wouldn't believe the absolutely stupid stuff folks put their cars through.
