Default My least favourite firearms

Righto,

Any gun is better than no gun, but I really dislike a few. Here are some that jump to mind.

Carcano, jap arasaka & turkish mauser.

There was also a really horrid 22lr made in the Phillipines by Bingham Squires & was sold here as a Stirling 22 auto and also as a squibman.

Best thing you could do with it was to paint it green & hide it in some long grass & hope that you couldnt find it when you went back.

Webley made a horrible little 32 auto as well. Ive never seen one that didnt have the bakelite handles broken either.

What is on your horrid list?

Shit Iwan an arisaka, and a carnaco. A mauser wouldn't be bad either.

I think I hate my MAS's. I have three, and they just havn't inspired anything out of me. I have never shot them either. One of these days I am going to sell them.

My least favorite though is probably the 1911. (ducking) I just don't like it.

Only good thing about carcanos is that they can fire them magic bullets.

I reckon arisakas are bulky ugly looking things like the turk. Not pretty like as 98 or 96 mauser.

Ill just let that 1911 comment go through to the wicket keeper.

HK91: A semi-auto that kicks worse than a bolt gun, and as heavy as a car to boot.

AR15: The Vietnam vets weren't lying when they nicknamed it "Matty Mattel."

Seecamp: Try reassembling it.

I LOVE 1911's--if you get a good one that's not a Jam-O-Matic.

I bought a Turkish Mauser, and it was too junky to even restore, so I got rid of it. I'd like to get another for my collection, but every time I see one, it's total junk. Same with Caracano and Arisaka rifles. I just don't want junky guns cluttering up my safe space. I'll find a good one of each one of these days.

Even when they were brand new, they were butt ugly.

i have to agree about hating AR-15s.....the ones i've shot have just been too unreliable and any vet i've talked to advised if you were armed with one of these to kill the first guy you could find with an AK and take his weapon

and i also love 1911s. i've only ever shot two, cheezy's and my own, but both work like a dream. my 1911 is what i carry concealed...i feel very safe cuz i know i can count on her

I also had an Armi Jager pretend AR-15 in 22lr. It SUCKED and then broke. It SUCKED even more then.

I hated that gun.

Trivea: Did anyone notice that the AR-15s in ther original Dawn of the Dead were not really AR-15s but those CRAPPY Armi Jager pretend ones?

Im glad the zombies didnt wake up to it.

I always liked Webley revolvers though. I've got one, it's a .38 cal. I'd like to have one in .45.

Here's a picture of my Webley:

Another neat revolver I have that is kind of an odd ball is my old H&R .22 LR
