Yup, Beretta BM59, this one is the Nigerian model. I had one back about 14 years ago, serial # 1516, and every damn part was stamped PB for Pietro Beretta.

Beautiful rifles.

Springfield Armory used to bring them in, and they are still available from Reese Surplus. Reese bought out Springfield years ago, then left it to his sons.

Why aren't you posting some "what the hell is this thing?" threads GJ? You've nailed a bunch of the ones I've posted.
