Whatever it is it's South African from the late 70's or early 80's and 9mm.

Armson OEG sight, early M16 grip, STEN magazine.

Yep!!, the s&s sidewinder 9mm.
made for law enforcment and military use.
It derived from early colt IWP designs,
and was to be issued to pilots as a survival weapon.
The buttplate extended for arm pull, and it used a two
stage trigger, light pull "semi"
