turns out the rifle was brought back by the family. The arsenal that made it was Toyo Kogyo. The symbol is a three peal flower looking thingy and a circle with a broken line in it. Im doing the 3in1 iol thing to it riht now. Thanks for that info.

No problem, there's a lot more info on these rifles. My father in law was in the Navy and he used to tell me stories about how they would take loads of these rifles and dump them out in the ocean. There is a lot more info on these rifles. Just run a search on the net. If I remember correctly there was a collectors site on these rifles.
