Price Check... Help

I found 2 rifles Ive been wanting today, I can only get one of them, Im trying to figure out which is the best deal.
I found a Mas 36 in VG condition $275 or
A 8mm Hakim in good to VG condition for $450.
Are these prices in line?
Which is the better deal?

If it's complete (not missing front band, bayo mount, adjusting block for rear sight), I'd say this is about right, $400 to $450 is normal in this area but once and a while one will pop up a little cheaper.

I think the Hakim is a better deal. At one time, I had a MAS36, 36/51, 49 & 49/56. I sold them all because good ammo was a pain to get and I was pissed at the French at the start of the War on Terror and didn't want any of their rifles in my collection.

I have a Hakim now that I bought from my uncle and it's one of my favorites.

Go with the Hakim. The price is about average for gunbroker.com right now and 8mm surplus ammo is cheap. There's a guy on auctionarms selling 1950's production surplus Yugo 8mm in boxes of 15 with stripper clips for like $2.99/box + shipping. I bought 300 rounds and it shoots great.
