Default Which states allow for private sales.

Since the government and the media are trying SO hard to remove our 2nd amendment right to legally purchase firearms from private partys at gun shows or from people homes.

I would like to start a list of all those states that unhold the 2nd amendment and our LEGAL right to purchase firearms!

Which states allow for the purchase of firearms through private partys?

STATES:
Illinois - Must keep record of the sale for 10 years and have a FOID (firearms onwers card) to buy and sell.
Texas - allows private party sales.
South Carolina - allows private party sales.
Arizona - allows private party sales.
Vermont - allows private party sales.
North Dakota - allows private party sales.
Nebraska - allows private party sales.
Pennsylvania - allows private sales on long guns, but pistols are supposed to be transfered.
New York - allows private sales on long guns, but pistols are supposed to be transfered.
South Dakota - Long guns to those not prohibited, 18 and older. Sidearms, to those not prohibited, 21 and older.
Florida - allows private party sales.
Virginia - allows private party sales.

I live in Illinois and can buy private party. However, they make you keep the records for 10 years when you sell. Also, you have to have a FOID Firearms Owner ID card in order to buy or sell. Simply put they tax you for buying a gun. This state is heavily influenced by Dick Daly Mayor of Chicago and no doubt you know our former assbag governor.
No guns in the city of Chicagor for the law abiding citizens. One of the highest crime rates in US too. I don't live near there to be concerned with those antis, but they do influence Springfield decision makers.

I have transferred machine guns and bought guns at the gun show as private sale items. No sweat, I am in Texas! So long as all paperwork is in order for NFA stuff.

Nebraska allows private sales and a good deal of the tables at gun shows are used by non-FFL holders. (just like they should be)
