Since it is already sporterized get it drilled and tapped for a scope mount. You wont lose any collecter value. Any gunsmith can do it and probably has the mounts in stock. If not you can get them from brownells,amoung others. Ive done many mausers w/ the jig I bought from them years ago.

Another possibility in scoping that Mauser is to use a long eye-relief scout scope mounted on the rear sight base. Thus no drilling and tapping of the receiver is needed.

It looks like a Spanish '93 to me. I bought one that had been sporterized by a gunshop owner years ago. It had been re-chambered in .308.
Be POSSITIVE of it's chambering before firing it.
Oddly enough only 1 of the bolt lugs contacted the inside of the receiver when the bolt was closed. The other one made no contact at all. (?)
