Thumbs up

The ATFE Reform bill did very well in the House for the last 2 years.
Now that the Senate is in the game , this could be a big win. No more barrel ban.

I don't think this will change.
IIRC, the last time anything favorable to firearms owners moved through a Democrat controlled House was '86. The Speaker (O'Neil) would not permit a vote then. When almost enough members had signed a discharge petition (which would have forced a vote) the House committee amended the bill to include the MG ban and forwarded it to the House.
I expect the only way this bill would ever come to a vote is through a threat of a discharge petition. I also expect that if it looked like it would come to a vote that way, the "leadership" would attach some "poison pill" amendment before it got to the floor.
