Angry This Act may be cited as the ‘Assault Weapons Ban Reauthorization Act of 2008’

Don't know if this is old hat and you've already seen it, but you might want to take a look.

Well, This is a good example of what I'm saying, it says the bill is in the House sub-committee on "Crime, Terrorism and Homeland Security" for reveiw. Does anyone know who chairs that committee? We all should know every single person who chairs that committee and if every single one of us contacts every single one of them twice (once for the initial contact and once for follow up), letting them know how this bill directly violates our 2nd Amendment and remind them of those facts from Coldsteel's " A Little Gun History" thread, that'd be hundreds of contacts! Everyone should have this site saved to "Favorites" and visit it often [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] from there you can get all the names of the 110th Congress and how to contact them. Many have their own websites (imagine how much we all can do there!)! Come on ,folks, let's put this negative energy , wondering what's gonna happen next, to positive work. Every Patriot here shoud be working every day sending emails/calling/writing elected officials.

Each member's name is linked to their web page for email addresses, etc.

Yeah, once states start to reverse the trend in CCW permits, I'll start to worry. At that point, you IMMEDIATELY go and apply for a renewal, whether or not your CCW [permit is up or not.

And if they have a fax number listed, fax them. It's difficult to ignore a pile of paper and a machine that is constantly demanding attention for more paper.

I believe it is worth noting that this bill, while apparently dead in the water for the year, was introduced and sponsored by 5 Republican traitors. Looking back at what we did with 6 years of complete Republican control I believe we really need to start holding Republicans accountable when they behave like Democrats.
