am i over thinking this

i have been giving this recent crock of shit some serious thought. the speed and ferocity in which the media and the political class has jumped the issue of guns appears to be too well orchestrated, i do not doubt for a minute that there is an ulterior motive, but i am wondering if there is something more sinister afoot.

i am convinced there is a plan in place to instigate something horrid. compound with the recent leak where the upper echelon of the military is being vetted with respect to their position on open assault on US citizens with the rabid attack on legal ownership.

i realize this may sound and epitomize tin-foil-hattery, but a part of me thinks this intentional shit stirring is an attempt to prod those on the fringe into a shooting contest with the feds. at this point they (the feds) win. there will be instant martial law and the mass media machine will run non-stop loops of anti-govt "militants" ad-nauseum. the public will be spoon fed "i told you so's", and there will be absolutely zero tolerance or zero wiggle room for anything beyond a red ryder.

You're not 'over thinking' anything. When the whole world is out to phuque ewe, paranoia is good, solid, sound thinking.
They're dancing in the blood of those kids in Newtown, beside themselves that this happened so they can take a match to the Constitution. I'm sure all the laws that are being pushed through were written a long time ago and just waiting for something to happen to be dated and time-stamped.

some kind of illegal under the radar things are going on.

#1 we got the feds/BATF caught red handed and up to their eyeballs in a conspiracy to arm mexican drug cartels in what looks like a false flag operation to scapegoat US citizens for mexicos drug and violence problems. this is blatant treason.

# 2 the the federal government wastes hundreds of billions of dollars helping ME governments OPENLY hostile to the USA and the west some of which openly support al-quaida, the taliban and other groups that have declared war on the USA and the west .

#3 these same ME countries are getting MASSIVE amounts of US arms including top of the line jets, missiles and tanks --all paid for by the US.

#4 obvious fraud and criminal activity went on during the wall-street banking fiasco trillions were lost . yet no one at the top was arrested or even had to refund any money. the government investigated the AG on the case was replaced and the new one oddly don't find enough to build a case.

even worse the government bailed out many of these banks with our tax dollars ending up in the same hands as the people who created the first disaster!

it is very coincidental that the big firearms ban fight is going to be about the same time as the budget fight--don't you think??

I'm sure someone told the Jews in Germany they were overthinking things at one point. All of these incidents, right after the election and right before "Avoiding" the fical cliff... Definitely leaves you scratching your head.

Scott, you are thinking clearly my friend. In today's environment, that is normal. Tin foil hat conspiracies have changed somewhat, and are relegated to the "space aliens sucked my girlfriend's brains out and took over her body so they could infiltrate the porno business" type of stories. Almost all of the stories surrounding the government, and it's abuse of power, and ability to spy on it's citizens has proven to be true and accurate.
