Default another BULL update

continued for this thread.

well I promised I would give some updates as he came along.
the feed program I am useing seems to be working very well. he is healthy and eats well.
here is the good news. I got a harness for his head so I could walk him out of his shed. when I first got the harness it was lose on the smallest setting, NOW I have to use the second hole in it in order to get it done up at all. he is growing !! and growing fast!!

That sounds like a deal. I was looking at some here in Missouri for $250.00.

They are weaned & on grass. Not bottle calves

the 250 pound angus/jersey is a much better deal than a new calved Holstein. The mortality risk is much less on a couple month old verses a newborn calf and the angus/jersey will be a beefier animal verses the holstien which will be biger boned but much less meaty....

Does anyone know how cows react to target shooting that is going on nearby?

The ones I've been around look at you, blink, moo and then just keep eating.
