It looks like they are only allowing 1 per year for 2000 credit. So I call up Nodak spuds and buy a blem AK reciever for 99 bucks or so, pay the FFL transfer of 30 bucks. Wait for tax time and "turn in this assault weapon, since the reciever is the weapon, batf's own rules correct? I get a net of 1871 dollars back in taxes plus whatever my regular refund is. jim

So, basically, this would be a Federal buy-back program.

Congress just raised my taxes; the United States is bankrupt and hopelessly in debt, and yet they'll still come up with this sort of thing.

NO your going to have to be more creative

1 nds is out of those Im pretty sure if there not pm me

2 a bare reciver is not a specific type of gun. it can be any thing from a pistol to a bolt action to a pump. rememaber the pump action aks. there also bolt action uppers for the ars an I even have seen a black powder muzzleloader on ak reciver. the atf or you cant say its a specific weapon until it actualy is. this is also likely going to apply to guys who think there going to grandfather a recvier in as a assult weapon if laws change likely you can not. when you ffl your recivers for the last few years it was marked as other or something like that.

I have two nds 7 yugos tranfered in as pistol on the last day the old forms were used so they are technicaly a pistol but even then untll built there not a semiauto. now the atf might say hey pal that thing will take all sa parts as is so were calling it a assult weapon if they were banned. but right now there not on a list of assult weapons the new laws may likely list them an if so it may not matter if you built it as bolt action they might say once a semi auto capiable reciver always even if it never was built that way.

3 The law will never pass its to full of stupid loopholes. hell for that kind if break id toss a pistol crip on my 10-22 an take it in.

id love to have the sponsoes attention for 10 minutes in front of a TV camera Fing idiots. I see nothing me from buying a legal cheap 22 lr adding a pistol grip an turning it in the next day. completely assanine thinking . an unless its reported stolen you would be the legal owner if you possessed it. so they don't want stolen guns from crooks ?????????????? brilliant the one thing that might have reduced crime is a no no .

You want to get bad guns out of the hands of criminals offer a $2000 reward for info on people who have stolen guns bet thery might get a few tips an get that gun back to its rightfull owner an lock up the crook . nahhhhhh that would make two much sence. .

Plus do not forget, they also got a nice raise as a Christmas present from Nappy.
If weapon and ammo sales keep going, they could pay off our national debt.
You brought up a good point. With this gun ban crap, that is not going to work, they have distracted from the "Fiscal Cliff."
Nappa Head is cutting back on the defense industry, Military, now the weapons industry?
Wake up you friggen idiot, 48 million on food stamps, do you want another 48 million?
Their is not enough dumpsters for diving to go around..
Hungry people turn too crime. I am getting old, hope I live to watch this show.
