And being NRA members will help the new owners be more responsible gun owners.

I am a NRA member, and I am not so sure if this helps. But, since I am feeling mellow today, I am going to be an optimist. This is selfish to the younger people who will in the future want weapons, I have all I need. I want one more, a DD 11" derringer. But if any kind of ban happens, I am old enough that I have no registered firearms. Again if a ban happens, sport shooting for me will come to a stop, which in that case I have more than enought ammunition to last me several years or until I get killed. So I will burrow down and bide my time until I am gone or the bans are revoked.

Forgot something. If I wanted to sell my XXXX that I got for $200.00 for over a $1000.00 like on Gunbroker, This panic would be great. But I don't want to sell it. But then again, would I have to pay capital gains tax on the sale?
