As one responder to that video put it,

"George made the complete transition from bitterly funny, to just plain bitter over the last 10 year of his life."

Not funny, not even close. He cherry-picks arguments in favor of his bitterness and blithely dismisses arguments against his position. He USED to be funny doing so, his tongue was in his cheek. Not toward the end of his life.

And note, I am not a religious man.

didnt watch the link, but commenting on sj's post, id have to agree, but i think it went back more than 10 years. it seemed around the early 80's he went from trying to be funny to trying to be a political activist. all downhill from there.

I'm not religious either. But I did really think about when he said rights are really privileges. It made me realize that governments all over the world think they have the right to control rights. He was right.
It's wrong.

That's one man's opinion. Btw, now maybe he can ask God about it directly.

Otherwise it's cumbersome to go indirectly round and round about to get to a simple point.
