Default Browning SA-22 for $350

Seems alot for a used 22? I have a Ruger 10/22 already. How do they compare ? Dude says it will do 2 inch groups at 100 yards?Made in Belgium. Buy or pass?

Hey RB, I have my face burried in the book for you right now. I don't see one called SA-22. Is it an A-bolt rifle or single action pistol or semi auto rifle?

A friend showed me a semi auto 22 take down rifle that has a tube feed from a hole in the side of the stock. If it's that one, the value depends on the engraving.

Google search says still being made,Late models from Japan,Said quility about the same but older belguim model worth more. Saw grade 6 for $1100.This must be a grade 1. Nothing fancy but good quility. Has a scope mount with a 4x bush.

Grade I has a nice engraving design on it.( both sides.) This is the one I saw last weekend. 95%=$375, 90%=$300. Add 50% for wheel sight. (whatever that is?) Add at least $50 for original box and manual. Grade II has a gold trigger and 2 prarie dogs and 2 squirrels engraved on it. 95% = $675. Add 100 for intials and 200 for signiture of engraver. Grade III is a really sweet one. Coin finish or grey chromed receiver, dog/bird scenes engraved on it, skipline checkering and signed by engraver. 95%=$1650+. When I get home from work I'll try to get a pic of the serial # section that tells you what year it was made. (info from 26th edition of Blue Book of Gun Values)

Fritz says good so your choice.
MSRP on this Marlin 883SS was $350.00 something. I got it for $225.00 new.
Used .22s are all over the place.
This sucker is a shooter. Nikon 3X9 .22mag. I lucked out with this. Man is it accurate.
I can take the whiskers off of a chipmunk at 1000yds.
Tanvil good man with those price checks. I found all my .22s are really fussy about the ammo used. Shop and get yourself a good deal.

I THOUGHT I'd heard some news about a new breed of Floridian chipmunk that had the scientists puzzled. Called it the "smooth-cheeked chipmunk" IIRC. Now I can call those scientists to tell them how those gerbils got that way and let them sleep at night.
