I got a kick out of Dave Despain the night before after she was fastest in practice. He was going on & on about how it had NOTHING to do with the driver. He said it was all about the crew cheif & mechanics. He said the pole qualifying was where the real drivers would stand out. Kind of made an ass out of himself in my mind.
