Default Gun Boards United

I just came across this: Charging-Handle, a member at AR15.com is sugesting we find a way for gun boards to organize and share incoming info to protect our rights. I dont know if it will fly but it sounds like a good idea.

Interestingly enough, I was thinking the same thing. 'United we stand, divided we fail'. (Yeah, I changed the last word)

I thinks it's a good idea.
The easiest way I see to do it is to make a section on the main forum page so when anyone signs on it's right there for everyone to see, like how the "General Disccusion Lobby" is the first area you see when you enter the forum here.

While the RSS feeds from places, such as NRA, are good. They generally lag time wise. I haven't looked into it yet, but I'm wondering if CSPAN and the various states legislatures have RSS feeds. If where an individual could go to subscribe were available, then it shouldn't put too much of a burden on any one board/forum.

Just as an idea, what if there was a system that you could go to, enter your name and address to send a form letter to all the senators and congress critters with a single click? Just a simple direct letter saying you oppose 'this' or are in favor of 'that'.

Opinions?

It can be done,But personal e-mails mean more than form letters.

I agree. I'm just trying to think of a way of a united front. Telling everyone to write an original email is a crap shoot. It's much easier to hit a web site and click a button.

Perhaps if the form letter was presented and allowed each person to edit it to suit them?
