3. Purchaser Declaration. For sales flagged by the trace alert system, participating retailers will ask purchasers to fill out a declaration indicating that they meet the legal requirement to purchase the firearm.

These mo fo's are getting more stupid by the day.. Hello idiots.. When you purchase the weapon you fill out the FFL form.. Then a background check too the NICS..
Fill out the proper FFL paperwork, get your clearance from the NICS. Thin fill out another form and tell them your not legal to purchase. WTF is going on out there?????

Kind of odd the sell more Black rifles than anyone, I have bought several from Wal-Mart (wife works there DISCOUNT) I like there electronic paperwork fill out you can check it for mistake and then they print it out for you and they make the call. Mite be different for the stores up here in Alaska not sure I know that as soon as they get in an AR-15 in it sells within the hour I know I just bought there last Colt LE6920 $1008.00 out the door.
I do think its funny when you buy a gun there a manager has to walk you to the door with it. I joke with him asking if could just carry it to the car to...lol
He said no my responsibility ends at the door. I thought that was funny.

I said this over 20 years ago when an Employess in Ny State had told me that Walmart was actually anti -gun, and that the upper manangement would be glad when they no-longer had to sell firearms & ammo,, I said somewhere on here about boycotting walmart when they choose to limit ammunition sale to those that qualify. and by boycott Imean everthing.if they were boycotted for a peroid of one week and the corporate offices knew why Im more than willing to be that, if they were to find out that all the sportmans & thier famlies are gonna boycott walmart for a peroid of one week and each time they flip flop back and foth on gun issues the boycott wil be longer! they will get the hint espically if this is done just pryor to hunting season! trust me gang they wil get the point if this was done nation wide!,,,,doc

the clintons/stevens (investment bankers) inc and china have a big big stake in wally world and control the board.

i have noticed that wally-world sucks compared to what it was when sam owned it and had control of policy. back in the day they were competitively priced had good return policy and at least tried to buy american products.

today their just a retail front for communist china goods, not even counting the leftist administration they got from the clinton involvement.

the really sour thing is wall-mart is using its billions to buy its way into politics--

do you really want a retailer writing the laws of the land? laws that affect your rights?

that is how big wally-martz THINKS it is now-- like somehow we can't live without it-

YOU GUYS ARE A LITTLE LATE TO THE PARTY, AIN'T YA?
WalMart business is one-ninth, 11% of the GDP of Red China. You go to WM for an oil change and you loaded an AK magazine. You buy a washer and dryer and you've paid for the whole damn gun.
Financially or militarily, these mutts want to kill us. AND YOU ARE HELPING THEM.
There has been no reason to darken their doorstep since Sam died, and just now you're talking about boycot?
I haven't been in a WalMart in twenty years. You guys have to stop watching internet porn and start reding more.

Can't I just read more and still watch porn?

Seriously, the way I read it was that the system would flag you if a gun that had been sold by the store to you was used in a crime. "maintain a computerized log of crime gun traces relating to the retailer". That would mean that Walmart would be effectively registering the guns they sell.

Wally world needs to do something to get their feet in the door of government. Look it up Sylvia Mathews Burwell (from Wal-Mart) has been nominated by the big "O" as his next budget chief.
