This poll includes a glaring error. The last question asks, "Do you agree that the Second Amendment gives citizens the right to own and bear guns without infringement?"

No, I do not. It doesn't "give" anything. to some people that might seem nit-picking, but consider this: if we agree that the government gave us our rights, logic dictates that the government can also take them away.

Well i think the arguement is that the Constitution affirms in writing our "god given" rights, but that those rights are not expressly granted by the government as we are endowed with those rights merely because of our existance.

The Constitution doesn't give or grant a single right to you. The Constitution recognizes naturally occurring rights and prevents the government from violating those rights.

The Constitution only grants rights to the government. Any right that is granted can be taken away. That was the intent of the founding fathers.
