Homeland Security and its cache of bullets
I've been reading the stories and the governments explanations. I wonder, has anyone fact checked purchases from previous years? Granted it will require chasing down all the individual agencies and totaling the numbers - since DHS is making umbrella purchases for all the subordinate agencies now.
This is the best way I can think of to determine if the single large purchase has a remote chance of legitimacy, or it's pure BS and start watching your back.

NOW THAT THEY HAVE ALL THE AMMO THEY WILL DO A BULK PURCHASE OF NEW GUNS THAT DONT SHOOT WHAT THEY HAVE AN THEN DESTROY THE AMMO THEY BOUGHT AS OBSOLETE .
They don't have all of it,,,yet! I've squirreled away a few rounds so far,,,,,
They are still selling left overs from wwII and Korea & Nam thru the DCM...
