The shooter was 20 years old, the earlier reports said he was 24 because he had his brothers ID on him. I guess they looked a lot alike?

In the near by home is where he lived with his mother, his mother was killed there then he went to the school where his mother worked.

I can't tell you how sick I feel at this moment,, there is truly is evil in this world. My heart and prayers go out to everyone affected by this awful crime. My heart is breaking for the parents and to all the kids that had to witness such a evil thing, everyone involved will be scarred for life from this senseless act. I'm beside myself trying to understand what could possibly make someone do such a horrible thing, there must have some serious things wrong in that family to prompt the shooter to do such a thing.

There's so many wrong things in our culture now days it really hard to put your finger as to what caused such an outburst. With all of today's violent movies, the context of the songs, and the violence of the vidio games,,, it's no wonder were raising a generation of misfits and downright uncaring, desensitized, violent people.

I haven't seen or heard of anything so mind boggling sense seeing the killing fields and witnessing the brutality of the Camar Rouge and NVA. I never thought I'd see the day some people in this country turn into the same kinda animals.

My prayers go out to anyone effected and all the familys,, may the Lord help them to get through a time that none of us could possibly imagine enduring,,,,I pray the Lord will comfort them. Rest in peace my children the Lord is with you. And may the strength of God be with the parents.

Just as a few reports said after a day or so, It was the handguns, not an "evil" AR that were used by this nut case.

What is really sad is the amount of dis-information that the anti's grab onto to support a ban on semi-auto rifles.

the amount of misleading and out right false statements by the press is embarrasing and disgusting. does the media have any credibility at all any more?

one has to wonder if the press/meda is trying to sway the public opinion with such lies and fabrications?

or if their reporting has just dropped to such a low level they don't know how to report news anymore or even care? the press themselves can no longer tell the truth from lies and fabrications?

this was a tragic event--the loss of those children is very painful.

our government needs to make sure this and other terrorist attacks against US children never happens again.

the ONLY way to do this is with armed guards / patrols and adding built in security features at schools.

banning arms will not stop al-quida or some deranged nut job from creating a disaster.
