Question

OK.
Since you've got no responses yet...
What is "your" favorite movie gun?

As far as things I don't already own, but could actually still buy...

I like the HK UMP .45
Of course I'd have to buy the USC and convert it, but it can still legally done.

Default Movie Gun!

At my local gun shop we have a movie gun used in "Robocop".

It's been there a while but I suspect that someone in the film industry has a vacation home nearby and they are selling this on consignment.

The radar-directed machine guns from "Aliens" are my favorite. Just set 'em up in a maintenance tunnel, turn 'em on, and let them blast the alien hordes all on their own!

Close behind would be the rifle Tom Selleck used in "Quigley Down Under."

The various Red Dawn AKs, pretty good job of replicating Russian iron with what was available back in the day. Plus, they are just everyday, stock firearms. Most of the "movie guns" that are modified for screen use have all sorts of prop department crap bolted to them to make them look like something else. Plastic shrouds and such to make them "futuristic" or "tacticool", plus bbls plugged and/or locking systems removed to make them fire blanks. Just expensive cap guns.

The Barrett was used in the first Robocop as the "Cobra Assault Cannon", the Pauza P-50 on the wall above is from the second one. Robo used it to shoot at the Kane cyborg. Not much info out there on the Pauza, apparently only 36 were ever made.
