Do NOT put words in my mouth! snogler posted something that left me unclear regarding meaning. I did NOT ASSume what he meant, I asked for clarification. Something that you apparently have no time for.

Beat your breast about your patriotism. Make a thunderous noise. Brow-beat those who you assume don't agree with you and feel righteous about doing so because it's about "freedom" after all.

It's your thread, I'm out of here. No need to mingle people who lack manners.

You were quite right to be offended sjohnson as it was not my intent to quote you but I meant to just reply in general, not to you particularly. Hit the wrong button at the wrong time and didn't catch it because of distractions. That doesn't excuse the fact that it appeared rude. You really posted a neutral post and no brow beating was intended as this is a free country and your opinion matters as much as mine or anybody else.

I am concerned that we will miss the important, discreet, life altering government moves while waiting for complete verification. It's almost as bad to go off half cocked, but it's better to rant and rave over a misunderstanding to our senators and other representatives and have them know we are watching, than to remain quiet and have them think us asleep at the wheel.
I don't see this administration coming at us head on. They'll let the wolf in the back door while telling us it's just the dog!

Unfavorable treaties ratified by the Senate are very bad s**t! The Supreme Court has ruled they take precedence over the U.S. Constitution. Some very bad things can happen if we don't get some balance in the Senate & House.

We don't need cap and trade. It will allow the UN to actually tax US if we go over the limit!! The day that happens is the day we need to revolt. This president hates our country and will destroy it as we know it. They have to be stopped at all cost!!!

I'm with you, sjohnson. This happened to me a week ago. Calm you pride and remember what I think Ernest Hemmingway said, "He is a voice calling in the wild, full of sound and furry, signifying nothing." Life's too short. Fix what you can, ignore the rest. Don Quioti couldn't beat the wind mills either.

This is meant to be a civil response, I hope much can be fixed. I also hope you will be content to ignore the rest. The US Military "ignored" the signs of a doctor at Ft Hood as it was easier than trying to fix a politically correct "thou shalt not". It would not have been easy to change the military rules or painless as I'm sure some would have lost their commissions or jobs. Ignoring something is one thing, Living with it is another. Some things just should not be lived with if you know it's wrong. It was ok to live with for a while, no problem. By the time the problem that everyone could see raised it's head, people had quit looking. That's the way of the left, they're sneaky that way.

This part of the military is so screwed up I will agree with you. They could have fixed it, and they were wrong to ignore it. Maybe at the next election we can fix some of the things that need to be fixed. Maybe we can elect some people who are not pc politicians but pro Americans.
