redefining america or redefining "liberals"
 

the administration is making a big deal out of "re-defining america"

of course it is full of socialist , homosexual , rainbow/ building a bridge to utopia, government going to make that shining city where everybody is going to have everything they want--via us government BS.

but who is really being re-defined here?

the one thing i have seen change is who and that is a liberal--

go back a few decades "liberals " where the ones who wanted pot and most dope legal, they wanted less police and law enforcement--less laws period.

mostly they wanted the government out of their life and out of their hair, they didn't want the MAN looking into every closet they got , tapping their phone, and spying on them as they drive down the highway.

they didn't want to be taxed, licensed or background checked at every turn. they were generally anti-government intrusion and they did want to protect their privacy.




now look at the liberal of today and tell me what has "changed" ?

today a liberal WANTS the government to control, regulate and TAX everything--todays liberal don't seem to mind huge government police agencys spying on the population through their phones, on highway cams and other means. the liberals of today believe every official memo from DC with blind faith. or the foolishness of one who willingly forces himself to believe a lie.

todays liberal wants to regulate you , use the government to force his will on you and todays liberal wants to TAX the rich--but everybody else is rich --not him--

todays liberal wants to take your property--for your own good--they say. and he wants to change the constitution to do it.

the so called liberal of today is not a liberal as we knew them.

liberal is just a softer word.

sort of like Obamma saying "reasonable gun safety" --when he is really talking about CONTROL.

what is todays liberal ?

the closest term i can find is "neo-socialist" sort of a combination of nazi and communist.

in the neo-socialist world the government is all-ways right and knows what is best for all.

an insane faith in govenment and the administration who refuses to see any failings.

the neo-socialist is nothing more that a government fan boy who somehow thinks he is important to that government/administration.

boy are they going to be in for a shock!

Well Lenin was the one who coined the term "Useful Idiots" but I get what you are saying. And I agree with everything you said except for one thing. There needs to be a "liberal" or "progressive" president at the helm for them to act that way. If it was an old white Republican (or even a black Republican which they will title "Uncle Tom") they would not be so eager to march in lock step.

It goes back to some of my previous posts about the "Soft" treatment of Socialism or Communism in schools so "Fair Share" sounds appealing to the youth of today. The same teachers who tell your kids the founding fathers were all slave owners will talk of Communism as follows: "There was Communism, America didn't like them, we built more bombs, Communism took a nose dive, and China is a great country with a rich history."

No mention of the over 100 million people who were put to death for the "Greater Good", but the founding fathers were rich racist slave owners and they made the Constitution for white people. There was actually debate on whether they should have to teach kids about our founding documents K-12 because it might "Limit free thought" which can be translated to "They won't believe all the crap we spoon feed them because they will find out we have been robbing them of true individualism for years".

Oh you don't have to learn about the Bill of Rights to be successful in America Timmy now go ahead and express yourself by majoring in Jazz Flute, then go "Occupy" something because you can't find a f*ckin job and that's not fair... Oh yeah and the taxpayer should have to pay for your Cal State Berkley degree too because that's what's fair.

Thank God there are some parents out there who teach their kids the right way and are involved with their educations because where that is not in existance you get an Educational Vacuum called Chicago.

Liberal, leftist, progressive, socialism are just sneaky names for communism IMHO.

It's not going to work from an economic standpoint, but that's the point. You can't be the big kid on the playground in a global government.

there is a big big logic gap here --sort of like a spoiled teenager trying to kite checks on his moms account--but in the far left thinkers brains somehow the logic of depositing a bad check to cover a hot check works out --LOL

when the new hot check bounces they just deposit a new bad check and write a new hot check---
