sarco has ar lower rec parts kits-good luck!
They sent me an e-mail and I tried as soon as I got it but couldnt get thru. Tried for 30 mins I did! O well maybe someone else will get lucky.

why do folks continue to deal with sarco
it never ceases to amaze me |
It has been hit and miss for me. Got an exellent uzi kit from them but the 1911 small parts kit was crap. Out of spec parts, couldnt use 25% of them. Other stuff has been pretty good. I wish they would get with the times and upgrade their website, server, whatever to make ordering more streamlined. I will deal with them as a last resort.

sarco is a hit and miss joint.
i have got some good deals from them . most recently got some very nice a3 uppers from them - $59 shipped that deal is long gone though. just before the panic attack-- the did stick me with a very old and worn a2 upper a year or so ago that looked like it spent 30 years being dragged around boot camp -- i didn't pay a lot for it and though it looks a little worn it still shoots fine. didn't pay big $$ for it or i would have been pissed off though. i can't say i have bought any 1911 parts from them other than their RI frames. i generally get everything from midway, brownelles or numrich. --seems like i did buy some grips and screws from CDNN last time around. the RI frame was excellent. i have recently been getting charging handles, port cover kits. gas tubes and some other small ar things from SARCO all look to be the exact same thing i have been getting from JSE, so far so good. i don't know about SARCOs LPK--$79 and no pistol grip? back when they had m16 lower parts i bought a few of them and they were new looking colt units, real GI surplus. the few of their ar-15 lower parts look very rough --sort of "hess like" like the injection molder was having a bad day. could even be illegal imports-- they seemed to work but were gritty feeling. i never bought any more of um. now if i paid $80 and got a bunch of rough parts and that was all i could get-- i would probably give up building ar-15. if you get one of their ar-15 LPKs you better go over it with a fine toothed comb cause i'll wager it is out of specs somewhere. --LOL! |
